Needle Felted Tapestry: Novice to Artist in a Day

Immerse yourself in the technique of needle felting with our artist in residence, Marcy Schepker. In this intimate, hands-on workshop you will explore the medium of wool as you blend and layer color, texture, and form to take home a one-of-a-kind tapestry. Guided by Marcy’s expertise, participants will learn both the foundations and expressive artistry of needle felting, using special barbed needles to form shapes, patterns, and imagery over your piece. Registration is limited to 14 participants. Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 10 AM to 1 PM at 31 Washington Street (Gathering Waters Upper School).
